The easiest way to get to the cemetery is to drive north on Old Springville Road to the intersection of Clay-Palmerdale Road in Clay. Take Clay-Palmerdale road to the left orwest for about four miles to the intersection of Cedar Mountain Road. Stay on Cedar Mountain Road for about three miles. The cemetery and church will be on your left. It is about 200 yards further to the next intersection which will be Pine Mountain Road.
The cemetery is owned and maintained by the Cedar Mount Baptist Church. George W. Chamblee appears to be the earliest readable stone in the cemetery, and is located adjacent to the church.
This cemetery contains some one hundred or more identical concrete markers that you can see in the photographs. These markers have no information on them. These concrete markers are apparently used to mark known burials in the cemetery. The time line of these burials is unknown. This cemetery is still in use.
This transcription was conducted on Apr 17, 2007 and it is a complete transcription of all existing and readable stones in the cemetery. It was updated on Oct 14, 2011.
