To reach cemetery, drive southwest out of Chalkville on Old Springville Road for about 1.3 miles. The cemetery is directly acrossOld Springville Road from the church.
If approaching from Interstate Highway 59, take the Chalkville Mountain Road exit (Exit 141). Turn right if you are exiting the southbound lanes of I-59 and turn left if you are exiting the northbound lanes. From Chalkville Mountain Road, turn left onto Old Springville Road. The church address is 2100 Old Springville Road. The cemetery is directly across Springville Road from the church.
This cemetery is owned and maintained by the First Baptist Church of Chalkville, Alabama. The church was founded about 1884 as the Chalkville Baptist Church.
The cemetery is in good condition. A few upright monuments have been broken but I was able to obtain information from them. Some metal plates containing personal data have been stolen from some graves. I would estimate not more than ten. I was unable to determine who is buried in those graves. There are a few field stones that may have marked graves at one time.
